After all these years, it is finally here. I could not be more excited, nor more proud, to finally share this video with all of you! I have so much to say, I hardly even know where to begin… As many of you know, this project was originally conceived more than five years ago. Since that time, this project has changed and evolved more than I could’ve ever anticipated. For a long time, and for various reasons, it seemed as though this video would never happen at all. As both the Halo scene and my life underwent drastic change, it became more and more difficult to believe this tage would ever materialize. Yet, even as that reality seemed more and more likely, I never gave up hope that it would still happen. The reason that I never gave up hope is each and every one of you. I can’t even begin to quantify how much support and encouragement I’ve had over the years for this video. Without that continuing support, I can say with absolute certainty this project would have never happened. And, for that, I want to sincerely thank every single one of you that has ever supported me and my videos. Yet, even with that belief, finding the right circumstances and the right person to bring this dream to life proved extraordinarily difficult. Thankfully, after a long search, I was fortunate enough to find the person who finally did bring this dream to life. Without DoubleAA, this tage may have never happened. Words cannot express the gratitude I have for everything he put into this video to make sure that it was something we could both be proud of, and that would make the years of waiting worth it for every one of you. Thank you man. I’ve been playing Halo for almost a decade now, and it has undeniably been one of the biggest parts of my life. The incredible people I’ve met, friendships I’ve forged, memories I’ve made, and good times I’ve had will be something I cherish for the rest of my life. That’s a big part of why this video means so much to me. In many ways, it’s the culmination of all of those things. Unfortunately, there comes a point in a time when you have to move on from certain parts of, and things in, your life. For me, Halo and montaging has become one of those things. I’m not saying this will be the last video I ever make (I still have plenty of clips to release that are leftover from this), but it will be the last time I am ever able to do something anywhere near this scale again. But, if I’m gonna go out, I’m proud that this is the final major contribution I will give to a community that has given so much more to me than I ever could’ve asked for in return.
